<B>1937-D 50C Boone MS67 NGC.</B></I> Swiatek-Breen (1981) wrote that the distributors told designer Augustus Lukeman to follow the bust of Boone by Albin Polasek at the New York University Hall of Fame, though Lukeman found this impossible. This attractive Superb Gem, one of only 2,506 pieces struck, has gold and violet-gray patina over each side with a touch of green on the reverse.
