<B>1937-D 25C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: Omaha Bank Hoard. David Bowers (2006) notes that: "The 1937-D is another date from the 1930s that was saved in roll quantities." As expected, the issue is thus available in Mint State grades through MS65, where PCGS and NGC have certified about 2,000 examples. MS66 pieces are more elusive, and Superb Gems are a challenge. Bright luster emanates from essentially untoned surfaces on this MS67 coin. A sharp even strike prevails, and a trivial mark or two on each side do not disturb.
