1937-D<10C> MS68 Full Bands NGC. This is one of the 20 finest certified Mercury dimes of all dates at NGC. From 1916 to 1939, NGC has certified a total of five Mercury dimes in MS68 : two 1916s, this and one other 1937-D, and a 1938-S. From 1940 onward, a further 15 coins from NGC are certified at this level, with none finer. The brilliant, profoundly deep luster is unimpeded on both sides, and the surfaces are frosty, silver-white, and prooflike throughout. A faint die crack runs just beneath the digits of the date. Only under a high-powered loupe can one notice a couple of the tiniest ticks on the fasces, ranking somewhere between extremely trivial and infinitesimal. The strike is crisp and bold, both on the center bands and on the diagonals. Don't miss this chance to acquire this phenomenal coin, one of the finest graded examples of the entire type.
