Though the Americans couldn't repeat their winning ways on this Silver Anniversary day, fans of the Junior Circuit nonetheless have reason to cheer in the form of this OAL (Cronin) ball blessed by twenty-three All-Star Old Timers. Sharing the sweet spot are Hall of Fame legends Grove and Foxx, with Averill, Joe DiMaggio, Feller, Dickey, Gehringer, Greenberg and Gomez nearby. The inspirational Monty Stratton, the original owner of this important baseball, is here as well. Signature quality ranges from 3/10 to 9/10, with all offerings easily legible. The ball has suffered a few abrasions in its travels, but still presents nicely and remains impressively white.
