<B>1937 5C PR68 NGC.</B></I> This fully struck specimen is a splendid representative of the Buffalo nickel type. Most of the Buffalo nickel issues were strictly business strikes, as the Mint stopped making proof coinage from 1916 until 1936. This piece is exquisitely preserved, with deeply watery fields and lovely dark-green and rose coloration.
