<B>1937 25C PR68 NGC.</B></I> This is a magnificently preserved specimen of the second-year proof Washington quarter issue of 1937, which featured a total production of just 5,542 pieces. A delightful survivor with exceptionally strong mirrors and just a trace of silver-gray patina on each side that precludes absolute brilliance.
