<B>1937 10C PR68 NGC.</B></I> This PR68 specimen exhibits the typical brilliance on both the fields and motifs. David Lange (2005) notes that these proofs suffer from: " ... over polishing of the die with a resultant loss of low relief elements. This includes: " ... the bridge of Liberty's nose, the leaves of the wreath and the dangling end of the leather thong that secures the fasces." These and all other design elements are fully intact and sharp on the present example. As expected, both sides exhibit near-pristine surfaces.
