<B>1936 New York Yankees Team Photograph by Burke, Type 1.</B></I> One of the most historic seasons for a franchise with no shortage thereof, the 1936 campaign featured a Lou Gehrig MVP Award performance and the debut of a young Italian outfielder named DiMaggio, as well as yet another World Championship for the Bronx. Joe and Lou join the rest of the squad in their road greys for this crisp and clear image by the era's most noteworthy photographer, George Burke. The image is printed at postcard size (4x6") and shows only light edge and corner wear to suggest seven decades of life. A highly collectible Burke team shot!
