<B>1936 New York Yankees Signed Government Postcard with Gehrig, DiMaggio.</B></I> One of two postcards blessed by the hands of the World Champion 1936 Yankees, this example is somewhat more comprehensive, providing four Hall of Fame autographs in the form of Gehrig, the rookie DiMaggio, Ruffing and Dickey. Six more are here as well: Hoag, Powell, Rolfe, Heffner, Crosetti and Pearson, all in 9/10 or better black fountain pen ink. One of many government postcards from the collection of young Howard Lyon presented within this auction.
