1936-D 25C MS67 PCGS. The 1936-D Washington quarter is third in line for rarity behind only the 1932-D and 1932-S issues. Most of the mintage, in excess of 5 million coins, must have immediately entered circulation as Mint State coins are all scarce today, perhaps because collectors of the day concentrated their efforts on the proliferation of silver commemorative issues that year. This Superb Gem has frosty luster with mostly brilliant silver surfaces, accented by splashes of gold and iridescent toning on the obverse. Among the finest certified by PCGS, and infrequently available at this grade level. Population: 9 in 67, none are finer (10/07).
From The Michael Fuller Collection.

Coin Engraver: John Flanagan

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
