<B>1936 50C PR67 NGC.</B></I> The 1936 proof half dollar, with a mintage of 3,901 pieces, is the key to the brief 1936-1942 series of proof Walking Liberty half dollars. This inaugural issue makes regular appearances in our auctions in PR64 and PR65 grades, and even Premium Gems can be located with a little searching and patience. The PR67 offered here is quite another story. Both sides are virtually untoned, and a well executed strike has imparted exquisite detail to the design elements.
