<B>1936 50C PR64 NGC.</B></I> Walking Liberty halves were struck over a 32-year period, but proofs were produced only between 1936 and 1942. The 1936 is the key to the brief run, since the mintage of 3,901 pieces is less than one-fifth that of the 1942.
