<B>1936 50C Lynchburg MS68 NGC.</B></I> The Lynchburg halves, limited to 20,000 pieces plus 13 assay coins, found widespread distribution. No sizeable hoards ever materialized, and today even Gem examples are elusive. Soft gold and sky-blue patina envelops most of the shining surfaces of this amazingly well preserved piece, though small slivers of brilliance peek through on the reverse.
