<B>1936 50C Gettysburg MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Frank Vittor, an Italian-born sculptor who stayed in the United States following a visit in 1917, obtained the commission for the Battle of Gettysburg 75th Anniversary halves, which more specifically commemorated the "Blue and Gray Reunion," an event that lasted only three days. An originally toned, nearly mark-free Superb Gem with rich ruby-gold, sun-yellow, and mint-green surfaces, as well as a splash of (appropriately enough) blue-gray.
