1936 50C Elgin MS67 PCGS. The rich, swirling mint frost is characteristic of most high grade survivors of this 1930s silver Commemorative. What sets this coin apart, in addition to uncommonly smooth surfaces, is the rich, dappled, crimson-russet iridescence that hugs the left obverse rim and drifts over the left and right reverse peripheries. Appreciably sharp for the type with a small, lone reeding mark before the pioneer's nose. There are only three Elgin Halves certified finer than MS67 at PCGS (9/02). Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. Sometimes eBay Premier live bid software cannot keep up with that pace, so we strongly recommend that you place a realistic proxy bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Premier carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
