1936<50C> Delaware MS66 PCGS. Lustrous and nearly full white, with nice definition and a few small marks on the ship's sails. A pleasing violet hue rings the rim on the reverse, while golden-russet hues outline the obverse rim. The obverse depicts the Old Swedes Church (the oldest Protestant church in the United States) with the date below. The reverse shows the ship Kalmar Nyckel which brought settlers to the Delaware Bay in 1638. This unusual coin was struck for the Delaware Tercentenary. It was authorized in 1936, struck in 1937, and dated 1938 on the reverse and 1936 on the obverse.
