<B>1936 50C Boone MS68 <img src="/images/star.gif" width="10" height="10" alt="" border="0"> NGC.</B></I> Bands of lemon, lime, and orange-gold alternate across the obverse periphery. The remainder of this Daniel Boone Bicentennial half dollar has only faint gold and pearl-gray toning. The satin luster is comprehensive, and the strike is exquisite. Best of all, the obverse is immaculate, and the reverse is virtually pristine. As of (1/08), PCGS and NGC combined have certified only four pieces as MS68, including two examples with an NGC Star designation, awarded for superior eye appeal.
