<B>1935 Detroit Tigers Panoramic Photograph.</B></I> The eventual World Champions pose for the camera at their Lakeland, Florida Spring Training grounds at the onset of that historic season. The photo was once the prized possession of Bob "Suitcase" Seeds, who appears standing fifth from left, and whose signed baseballs and photos also appear within this auction. Though Seeds may not be a household name today, several of his teammates pictured surely are, notably Greenberg, Goslin, Cochrane and Gehringer, all of whom boast Hall of Fame credentials. Having never seen an example of this image before, we can only surmise that the production run was limited to players and staff, making this Championship team panorama all the more appealing. The sepia image exhibits a few vertical creases and some mild fading at the edges, but the overall visual effect is very strong and is not hampered by these concerns.
