1935-D 50C MS66 PCGS. This is a notoriously poorly produced issue, about which expert Anthony Swiatek (1983) has said: "Only God knows if he created Miss Liberty with a fully struck head at the Denver Mint in 1935. He alone would also know her location today." The current offering does show some weakness on Liberty's head and the eagle's left (right facing) leg, but is generally well struck for the date; good definition is apparent on Liberty's left hand and the adjacent branches. Rich mint frost and a shining, brilliant appearance ensure the eye appeal of the piece. A couple of minuscule marks are noted on each side, but magnification is needed in order to see them. Population: 80 in 66, 0 finer (2/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
