<B>1935-D 50C MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The Walking Liberty series is known for many issues that exhibit substandard strikes, and the 1935-D is one of the most egregious offenders, with many surviving examples displaying practically zero definition on the branch hand and Liberty's head. This luminous and satiny Gem, silver-gray with small splashes of bronze patina, exhibits separation on the thumb and cap, though this issue's other trouble spot, the eagle's right leg, shows only modest detail.
