<B>1935 50C Spanish Trail MS65 NGC.</B></I> Perhaps the least-known sculptor of any American commemorative, Edmund J. Senn was the unemployed artist L.W. Hoffecker hired to translate his simple drawings for the Spanish Trail half into three-dimensional models. Senn's lack of work at the time is the only detail supplied for him in most numismatic references. This luminous Gem is predominantly steel-gray with splashes of reddish-orange color.
