<B>1935/34-S 50C Boone MS67 NGC.</B></I> This is a satiny Superb Gem with pale gold toning at the borders, over ivory surfaces on both sides.This Boone half dollar variety is an extremely low mintage issue that is in great demand by collectors. Just 2,000 of these coins were distributed at the time of issue. This is the first of many commemorative varieties that were hyped as rarities at the time of issue, and may be the variety that led to the demise of commemorative coinage programs in the middle of the last century.
