1934-S 50C MS65 PCGS. Bruce Fox (1993) calls the 1934-S "The scarcest of the 1934 issues. Fully struck gems are difficult to find ... ." This fully lustrous MS65 specimen displays occasional freckles of brown patina, and is sharply struck, including good definition on Liberty's left thumb and adjacent branches. The gown lines are also well impressed. A few light obverse marks likely preclude an even higher grade.

Coin Engraver: Adolph A.
