<B>1934-P:</B></I> This Above Average carving took some time to determine whether or not it was an original. After close examination it was determined, because of the ear design/technique, to be a very nice Dorusa work. The beardless subject looks strangely like a depiction of Ronald Reagan from Dorusa's Presidential Set. The hair is exceptionally well done as is the nose, mouth, eye, and neck area. Raw metal chisel marks in the field dressing behind the figure also suggest that this is a recent (not an original, which would have toned in this area over time) production.
