<B>1934 Baseball Autograph Album with Wagner, Waner Brothers, Hornsby.</B></I> Young Irene Mendel obviously put a great deal of work into this small hardcover volume, artfully clipping newspaper photos and gluing them to the blank pages within, and supplying the book to the ballplayers she admired for pencil autographs. Best in the book are pages signed by many members of the American League Champion Detroit Tigers and the Pittsburgh Pirates, featuring such 10/10 autographs as Cochrane, Greenberg, Goslin, Wagner, Vaughan, Traynor and both Waner Brothers. Also impressive is a signed newspaper photograph of Rogers Hornsby. Forty-one autographs are here in total, with not a single one dipping below 9/10 in quality. A few pages have come loose from the binding, but no autographs are affected by this. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
