1933-S 50C MS65 PCGS. After the presses began to strike silver coins once again after the slowdowns.
1933-S 50C MS65 PCGS. After the presses began to strike silver coins once again after the slowdowns from 1930-32, some 1.7 million Half Dollars were produced in San Francisco in 1933. This mintage alone qualifies the 1933-S as a scarce and important early issue in the early Walker series. When located, Gems are usually fully struck and minimally abraded. So it is with this piece. Additionally, the surfaces display flashy mint luster and there are no obvious abrasions on either side. Population: 111 in 65, 56 finer (7/02). Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. Sometimes eBay Premier live bid software cannot keep up with that pace, so we strongly recommend that you place a realistic proxy bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Premier carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
