<B>1933 Philadelphia Athletics Team Signed Baseball.</B></I> The strong sweet spot pairing of twin Hall of Famers Jimmie Foxx and Mickey Cochrane make this OAL (Harridge) ball a hot commodity, particularly for collectors of the great Athletics dynasty of the era. Though the glory days of 1929-31 were behind them, the white elephants still held onto some remnants of their past greatness, and we also find a light (3/10) Lefty Grove on one of the side panels. Ten autographs are still discernible on this deeply shellacked sphere, but again it's Jimmie and Mickey that will draw the interest here, with all but the final letters of Cochrane's surname projecting at a strength of 7/10 or better. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
