<B>1933 All-Star Game American League Team Wire Photograph.</B></I> Not since the 1911 benefit game for the family of fallen Hall of Fame pitcher Addie Joss had such an outrageous compilation of baseball talent inhabited a single diamond as we find here assembled for the very first All-Star Game. This Comiskey Park shot features team manager Connie Mack surrounded by the likes of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Lefty Grove and Bill Dickey, registered in flawless clarity and contrast. Original paper caption affixed to verso of photo, which is date stamped "Jul 11 1933" with "Acme Newspicture" identification. Minor border wear, but otherwise presenting as NRMT. 7x9".
