<B>1932 World Series Press Pin (New York Yankees).</B></I> It's a Series best remembered for the Babe's "Called Shot," though this fine specimen saw action during the home half of the Bombers' four-game sweep. The lucky journalist wearing this pin bore witness to Ruth's final October appearance in pinstripes, as the Bambino would never be part of another pennant-winning club. A minor defect to the enameled baseball at center, very likely a flaw in production rather than a condition issue, is the only hiccup in appearance we can note, as the pin keeps the theme of magnificence that characterizes this auction's offerings.
