1932 Prohibition-Era Prescription Form for Medicinal Liquor issued under authority of the National Prohibition Act. A 5.5" x 4.5" partly printed pink duplicate form filled in by carbon paper. During the years that the 18th Amendment was in effect (1920-1933), liquor could be had legally if prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a licensed pharmacist. This form gave a prescription for Spirits Frumentis (the medical Latin term for alcohol) to a man named Robert Gibbons and is dated December 30, 1932 (coincidentally close to New Year's Eve?). Fine condition.

Shipping: Small Flat (view shipping information)
