<B>1932 George Washington Color Lithograph.</B></I> Done after the painting by Gilbert Stuart, made by Edwards & Deutsch Litho. Company, Chicago, Illinois. This outstanding, historic print has a 23.5" x 17.5" image with wide selvage at the bottom to 25.5", and has a facsimile signature, "G. Washington". This portrait was reproduced as a ten-color lithograph with a canvas finish that gives it the appearance and texture of a genuine oil painting, being after the famous painting by Stuart, which is currently used on the United States $1 note. It was specially produced for the bicentennial celebration of George Washington's birth in 1732. The manufacturing process at Edwards & Deutsch Litho. Co. took two months to complete, and the print run was produced in a limited edition. This is a fresh, clean and pristine print, perfectly suitable for framing and display. Mint.
