1932-D 25C MS64 PCGS.
1932-D 25C MS64 PCGS.<p>After a three-year hiatus, the Denver Mint reactivated its Quarter presses in 1932 for the first year of John Flanagan's now-popular Washington design. The branch mint's total production of Washington Quarters this year amounted to just 436,800 pieces, a total that confirms this issue's status as one of the keys to this long-lived series. This is a fully struck representative of the type whose frosty finished surfaces are blanketed in soft lilac-gray patina. A series of staccato-like abrasions (a reeding mark?) over the eagle's left (facing) wing are all that seem to bar this coin from an even higher grade. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. Sometimes eBay Premier live bid software cannot keep up with that pace, so we strongly recommend that you place a realistic proxy bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Premier carry a 20% Buyer's Premium.
