<B>1932-D 25C MS63 PCGS.</B></I> The mintage figure for the 1932-D quarter is 436,800 pieces, higher than that of the 1932-S (408,000 coins). This disparity notwithstanding, David Bowers writes in his <I>Guidebook of Washington and State Quarters</B></I> that: " ... in grades of MS63 or better the 1932-D is at least 5 to 10 times rarer than the 1932-S." Light champagne color adheres to the lustrous surfaces of this Select '32-D specimen, and the design elements are well impressed.
