1932 $10 MS66 PCGS. As the most frequently seen ten dollar Indian, there are literally thousands of coins available from MS60 to MS65 condition. Far fewer examples are known at the MS66 level, primarily because of what Akers terms "unsightly surface 'cuts' that seem heavier than typical bagmarks." Probably around 200 coins are known at the MS66 level, far fewer than the number of collectors of high grade 20th century gold type. Like the 1926, there is no singular, finest-known 1932 ten dollar. However, if one judges by the price realized at public auction, then the still-reigning champion is the Thaine Price coin that was described as "nearly flawless" and sold in May 1998 for $27,000.
This is a lovely, well struck coin that exhibits rich, even reddish-gold color and thick, swirling mint frost. Undoubtedly one of the finest 1932 tens known and worthy of inclusion in another high grade set.
From The Kutasi Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
