1932 $10 MS66 NGC. The only readily obtainable U.S. gold coin issue from the 1930s, the 1932 is a ubiquitous presence at a typical coin show--but hardly a presence in so fine a grade as the present MS66 example. Unlike the usual bagmarked, lackluster low-Mint State coins so often seen, this piece is blessed with effulgent luster over surfaces that are nearly distraction-free. Were it not for a couple of nicks on Liberty's jaw, this coin might have achieved an even finer grade. The coloration is an exuberant mix of green, gold, peach, and apricot hues. The strike is bold, with no apparent weakness even on the often-soft eagle's perch. NGC has certified only seven coins finer (4/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
