<B>1931 Omaha Air Races Photograph Lot.</B></I> Thirteen 10” x 8” black-and-white professional photos taken during the May, 1931 Omaha Air Races. Includes images of the venue, crowd shots, aircraft rounding the pylons, various images of aircraft, winner's photo, and what appears to be the wreckage of Charles “Speed” Holman's aircraft. Speed Holman was a popular aerial daredevil and thrill seeker who met his end at the event while giving an impromptu aerobatics display. Several photographs are marked with a “Gall Omaha Nebr.” studio mark.
