This is a vintage (most likely 1930s) cover from True Story magazine featuring artwork by J. Cannert. Note that this is the COVER ONLY. SIZE: Approx. 8 1/2" x 11 3/4". Jules Cannert (1890 - 1954) was active/lived in New York and was known for magazine and portrait illustrations.

Excellent condition except for some light denting, some light scrunching in the top right corner, a diagonal bend toward the bottom left, and 1" tear on the left and top edges. The rough left edge is where it was removed from the magazine.

In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt on our part as to the validity of any bid, the auctioneer will have the final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, our sales record is conclusive.

A 20% restocking fee also applies to merchandise rejected by the buyer due to reasons other than misrepresentation by All Things Estate Auctions. All sales are final. No lots are sold on approval. Placing a bid is a legally binding obligation. There are no returns or exchanges. By signing up to bid and by bidding, bidder agrees not to violate the payment provisions of these terms and conditions.
