Spalding positional trophy from the 1930s, figural fielder metal stands atop a silver plated platform with hands outstretched to catch a ball. 11" tall on a 4" x 11" base, pedestal reads "Spalding Trophy" with raised baseball and two crossed bats, with "Won By" in relief. The raised baseball is meant to be engraved with the recipient's name. Manufactured by Dieges & Clust. Great patina with some tarnishing due to age. Left ankle is detached, right ankle is cracked forcing the figure to lean forward.
