Magnificent vintage 1930s 29" x 40" retail display with cardboard easel back for Lucky Strike "Flat Fifties" cigarettes. Made of hand-painted wood with paper overlay, art deco tiered base, in the center is featured the right side of a man's blazer made of wool with buttons, with lifelike hand reaching into the pocket to pull out a tin of cigarettes. Surrounding this are 21 vintage cardboard [empty] packs of Lucky Strike greens, set in a horseshoe shape. Overall VG condition with noticeable wear to the peripheral packs, some fraying on the wool. An absolutely unique design and a highly desirable piece of tobacciana!
