35" store bought Babe Ruth model 40BR baseball bat circa 1930s, oval center brand reads "Louisville Slugger, 40 B.R., Hillerich & Bradsby Co., Made In U.S.A., Louisville, KY." with "Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." below. Upper barrel brand reads "Trade Mark, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." with facsimile "George 'Babe' Ruth" signature. Chip on knob, some checking on barrel, bat shows some wear and is in overall VG-EX condition.
