<B>1930s Aviatrix Photograph Archive.</B></I> A interesting lot consisting of 30 professional black-and-white 8” x 10” photographs featuring well-known and less-known female aviators from the 1930s. Many of the ladies are posed with their aircraft and several photos provide excellent examples of “aviatrix fashion” of the period. Among the flyers in the group include Florence “Pancho” Barnes, Laura Ingalls, Blanche Noyes, Louise Thaden, Dorothy Hester, Jackie Cochran, Helen Lucas, Constance Martin, and many others. A few of the images are identified on the reverse and several press photos with typed news captions tipped to the reverse.
