<B>1930's Babe Ruth Signed Baseball.</B></I> One naive autograph collector's misguided decision will bring a bold sweet spot Ruth signature into a more affordable realm for the smart hobbyist. This vintage Worth Official Mid-Atlantic League ball lived for decades as a Ruth single, until someone brought it out to the ballpark in the 1960's and added the signatures of Moose Skowron, Don Kessinger and a third unidentifiable party. Each subsequent autograph remains suitably distant from the Bambino so as to afford the appearance of a single signed ball without the soaring price tag to match. Ruth's autograph rates a conservative 8/10 due to some rather insignificant surface wear, but the black fountain pen ink that forms the autograph is wonderfully strong. The ball itself is nicely toned, supplying appropriate vintage patina. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
