<B>1930 World Series Press Pin (St. Louis Cardinals).</B></I> A third National League Championship season for the red birds, though the outrageous Hall of Fame talent of Connie Mack's Athletics team proved too much to handle this October. This fact certainly couldn't diminish the beauty and appeal of this scarce pin, however, which still presents beautifully three quarters of a century later. Very minor oxidation to the outer golden ring is all that bears mentioning in regard to the face of the pin, as the enamel is free of flaws. Oxidation to the verso is of no concern.
