<B>1930-S 5C MS67 <img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10> NGC.</B></I> The mintage of the 1930-S Buffalo nickel was a moderate 5.4 million pieces, in line with several other S-mint emissions of the series. Regardless of the sufficient mintage, this piece is likely the most beautiful 1930-S nickel on the planet, as the only piece to receive both an MS67 grade and Star designation from NGC. This specimen is intensely toned with vibrant crimson, gold, blue, and red in perfectly organized concentric rings on the obverse and reverse, with radiant luster beneath. The strike is bold for the date and mint, and the surfaces are quite clean. One must wonder if a more beautiful and desirable Buffalo nickel of this date <I>could</B></I> exist.
