1930-S 5C MS66 PCGS. Lilac-gray tinting overlays the centers and yields to mostly complete crescents
1930-S 5C MS66 PCGS. Lilac-gray tinting overlays the centers and yields to mostly complete crescents of orange-gold toning around the peripheries. The full, frosty luster and virtually blemish-free surfaces are not uncommon for an example of this generally well preserved issue. The overall sharp strike, however, is praiseworthy for a '30-S Nickel and we note only trivial incompleteness of detail over the central obverse and reverse highpoints. A tiny flicker of carbon is seen in the reverse field below the bison's body. From the BTB Collection of Buffalo Nickels.
