1930-S $10 Indian PCGS MS63
A very attractive MS63 specimen of this date. Radiant luster in the fields, and the strike is fairly sharp on Liberty's tiny curls and the feathers. This particular coin can be identified by a few small nicks on the portrait, the eagle, and in the field. None are of any consequence--they merely set the grade parameters. Always in strong demand as one of the key dates to this series, and Superior offers a splendid example of this 1930-S rarity in affordable condition. Certainly a great opportunity for the dedicated individual to pick a choice specimen, as it might normally be a year or two before another of this caliber is offered. Of the 96,000 coins minted, the majority were melted. Most survivors are from European sources dug out of bank vaults in the 1960s and 1970s. (#8883)
