Two naval navigational instruments including a sextant, both in original cases and both impressed with the name "P. Somerville R.N.". Commander Philip Somerville D S O and Bar, D S C and Bar served with the Royal Navy during WW2. He was the son of Vice-Admiral Hugh Gaultier Coghill Somerville, C.B., D.S.O. of County Cork and was killed in 1942 whilst in command of HMS Kingston
