1929 US Cartridge Co Come on, what ails yer! Ammunition Shot Shells Cartridges 3D Display Sign
Large cardboard die cut sign with good color and excellent graphics, circa 1929. "Come on, what ails yer!" by renowned artist William Harnden Foster (1927) features a snow scene with a hunter leading his dog away from a hidden rabbit. Various shotgun shell and cartridge boxes on the side panels. Reads "Clean-shooting, Keep rifle bores clean as a whistle" on the right and "A load for ever purpose, A shell for every purse" on the left. Exhibits with wear, spotting, discoloration and a few surface tears in general. The bottom shows with some damage, primarily on the right panel. The vertical log in 3D panel has a tear that has been repaired with tape. This is an outstanding hunting scene, reminiscent of sportsman art of the period. Marked CS91 3-29 Copyright U.S.C.
