<B>1929-S 25C MS67 NGC.</B></I> Standing Liberty quarter specialist J.H. Cline (2007) writes that: "The 1929-S, as most S mints, were average or poor strikes. Full Heads are an exception and certainly not the rule." The Superb Gem in this lot is somewhat better struck than most. Liberty's chain mail and the inner shield are relatively sharp, and the head displays good (though not full) detail. Two or three of the lower rivets are weak. Dapples of reddish-tan visit highly lustrous surfaces that are devoid of mentionable marks.
