<B>1929 Philadelphia Athletics Team Signed Baseball.</B></I> Leaving even Ruth, Gehrig and the rest of the mighty Yanks in the dust this season, the monumentally talented Mack Men took the American League flag with eighteen games to spare, and then closed out the season in a four games to one butchery of the Chicago Cubs. Eighteen signatures on this OAL (Barnard) ball include some of the game's greatest figures, notably Foxx, Cochrane, Grove, Collins, Mack and more. All listed signatures present as 8/10 or better in quality with the exception of Mack, who is a couple points lighter as 6/10. Only one autograph from those remaining falls below this level. The ball itself retains that milky white tone that collectors crave, making for one of the most attractive team balls in this auction. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
